A record number of mudflows and floods have been recorded in Azerbaijan this year, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Taghiyeva said at a regional seminar.
According to Report, the official noted that over 8 months of this year, more than 140 such natural phenomena occurred in the country.
She noted that climate change leads to problems in agriculture and food security.
