Argentina’s popular “Poemas del Alma” has published verses “The World is yours, The World is Mine”, “Farewell, Mountains!”, “Azerbaijan is my World” by Azerbaijani People’s poet Mammad Araz in Spanish as part of the Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) project “Azerbaijan Literature in an International Virtual World.”
The translators of the verses into Spanish are Spanish philologists Paul Poggi Alessandro and Eva Contreras, as well as AzSTC’s Spanish language specialists Tutukhanum Yunusova and Aysel Aliyeva.
Mammad Araz has been recognized with a number of honourary awards, including the “Istiglal” Order.
The literary portal, followed by a wide auditorium of readers, regularly publishes works by such renowned authors as Alexander Pushkin, Alexandre Dumas, Jorge Luis Borges, Anna Akhmatova, Marina Svetayeva, Julio Cortazar, Alberto Moravia.
