The Egypt-Azerbaijan Friendship Society hosted an iftar dinner on the occasion of the holy month Ramadan.
The event held at the initiative of the society, brought together Azerbaijanis living and studying in Egypt, their family members, as well as employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the country.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Egypt-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, researcher Seymur Nasirov highlighted the activities of the Azerbaijani diaspora, as well as projects implemented by the Society.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Egypt Elkhan Polukhov touched upon the existing friendly relations between the two countries.
The diplomat noted the significant role of the heads of state in strengthening the ties between Azerbaijan and Egypt.
