Uzbek servicemen visit Azerbaijan Cultural Center

A group of officers studying at the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan visited Monday the Azerbaijan Culture Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Tashkent, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

The visit, organized by Azerbaijan's military attaché office in Uzbekistan, began with a tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev at his bust within the center. The officers were also presented with a book about Isgandar Aznaurov, a National Hero of Azerbaijan born in Uzbekistan.

During the event, the visitors toured the Heydar Aliyev Museum, the Museum of the History of Azerbaijani Statehood, and the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Friendship Museum, all located in the center.

The program also included a short film highlighting the historical, cultural, and economic ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as the 44-day Patriotic War. The visit concluded with a concert featuring Azerbaijani national dances.
