During a working visit to Italy, the Azerbaijan’s delegation led by Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov visited the renowned “Castel DePaolis” winemaking facility in the Lazio region to learn about its operations.

The delegation toured the facility’s vineyards and explored its modern production technologies and quality control mechanisms. They were provided with detailed information about the facility’s activities, raw material sourcing, production capacity, and product exports, with an emphasis on the production of high-quality products adhering to stringent standards.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the current state of winemaking, its development, innovations in production processes, experience exchange in the agricultural sector between businesses of the two countries, environmentally sustainable production, and enhancing export potential. The parties exchanged views on supporting small and medium-sized winemakers and expanding their access to international markets.
