Azerbaijani pavilion launched at fair in Malaysia arouses great interest

The Azerbaijani pavilion has been launched at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia as a part of the "Public Diplomacy Program - Wisma Putra Day 2023”, with attendance of 30 countries.

According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Malaysia, the participant countries showcased their national culture, traditions and cuisine.

The Azerbaijani pavilion at the Wisma Putra Day 2023 featured booklets and magazines highlighting the development of Azerbaijan during the period of independence, its achievements, mesmerizing nature, and tourism opportunities, as well as the materials related to the art, including examples of carpet, weaving and national costumes.

During the fair, the visitors tasted traditional Azerbaijani sweet pastry - shekerbura, baklava, as well as various fruit juices produced in the country.

The Azerbaijani pavilion aroused great interest among the local and foreign visitors.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Zambry Abdul Kadir, who visited the Azerbaijan pavilion, said that through the colorful and attractive pavilion the participants had the opportunity to get to know the fascinating country of Azerbaijan from different aspects.
