Ziyaddin and Huseyn Safarov, brothers who were killed in Yekaterinburg, have been laid to rest in Aghjabadi.

According to AZERTAC’s regional correspondent, the Safarov brothers were buried in the Hajibadalli village cemetery, where their parents are also interred.

A farewell ceremony was held in honor of Ziyaddin and Huseyn Safarov, who died as a result of brutal beatings in Yekaterinburg.

AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that the ceremony was attended by family members, relatives, and public representatives from the Aghdam and Aghjabadi districts. The Safarov brothers will be laid to rest in the Hajibadalli village cemetery, alongside their parents.

The bodies of Ziyaddin and Huseyn Safarov, Azerbaijanis who lost their lives due to brutal beatings in Yekaterinburg, Russia, on June 27, were brought to Aghjabadi district in the early morning hours for burial.

AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that, following a farewell ceremony to be held on Khalfaladdin Street in the city of Aghjabadi, the deceased will be interred in the Hajibadalli village cemetery.

On the morning of June 27, operatives of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) conducted raids on homes inhabited by Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg. During the raids, two Azerbaijanis were killed, and several others detained.

On June 28, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement expressing deep concern over the incident, emphasizing: “We expect from the Russian side to conduct an urgent investigation into the matter and bring the perpetrators of this unacceptable violence to justice as soon as possible.”
