Prime Minister Ali Asadov meets with President of Turkish Constitutional Court

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with President of the Turkish Constitutional Court Kadir Özkaya.

During the meeting, the sides hailed the continuous development of existing relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye across all domains, including politics, trade, economy, investment, energy, transport, transit and other areas. They also praised the long-term fruitful partnership in the judicial and legal sphere.

The two stressed the importance of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Presidents’ efforts in enhancing the international reputation of the Organization of Turkic States and turning it into a regional center of power.

They emphasized the significance of the cooperation between the two countries’ Constitutional Courts, both bilaterally and within international organizations, especially the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Turkic World.

During the meeting, the sides also discussed prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in various spheres, including the judicial and legal one.

Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev also attended the meeting.
