The resolution and recommendation adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on October 12 regarding the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, which is far from the truth and facts, repeats the main elements of Armenian propaganda, and is based on prejudices and lies, is, in fact, another manifestation of the unfair approach of the Council of Europe to Azerbaijan, said the delegation of Azerbaijan to PACE in a statement of protest regarding the abovementioned documents.
In these documents, the territorial claims of Armenia against Azerbaijan, which are at the root of the conflict in the region, as well as the military occupation committed against Azerbaijan and the ethnic cleansing of the population of Azerbaijan, have been completely overlooked.
