Bahar Muradova, Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan, met with Sopio Kiladze, Chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, to discuss the "Action Plan for the Implementation of the Strategy for Children for 2026-2030."
During the meeting, Bahar Muradova emphasized the importance of leveraging international experience and support in identifying future priority areas and developing the action plan on children's affairs.
Highlighting the engagement of experts with state authorities and members of the Assembly of Children's Ambassadors, Muradova noted that preparing the document with the direct participation of children is essential for safeguarding their rights and ensuring a more objective and inclusive process.
Sopio Kiladze expressed confidence that incorporating international recommendations and setting realistic, achievable goals in the action plan will lead to successful outcomes.
Addressing the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, Kiladze also underscored the importance of considering ethical and legal aspects in this area, particularly regarding the protection of personal data.
