Azerbaijan has proposed a series of groundbreaking investment projects for its recently liberated territories. These initiatives, spanning various sectors, aim to breathe new life into regions that have long suffered under occupation, according to Report.

One of the flagship projects is the establishment of a facility manufacturing decorative porcelain kitchenware. With an estimated cost of 25 million manats (approximately $14.7 million), this state-of-the-art plant is set to produce an impressive 18 million units annually.

Another significant proposal involves the construction of a sanitary ware production facility, with an investment of 20 million manats ($11.8 million). This project addresses a critical gap in the domestic market, as currently, 100% of sanitary ware in Azerbaijan is imported. In 2022 alone, these imports amounted to $20 million.

The Aghdam Industrial Park is set to host a cutting-edge facility for the production of personal hygiene products. With an investment of 17 million manats ($10 million), this project will utilize local raw materials and cater to domestic demand, further reducing reliance on imports and stimulating local industry.
