Since the beginning of this year, approximately 26,000 labor contracts have been signed in the labor market, with over 23,000 recorded in the private sector of the nonoil and gas industry, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said in a post on the social network X, Report informs
“The number of contracts signed in the private sector of the non-oil and gas industry to this day accounts for more than 50 percent of the total labor contracts, exceeding the corresponding figure of the public sector (excluding the oil and gas sector) by 59,000. Since the initiation of reforms aimed at employment documentation in 2019, the number of labor contracts signed has increased by over 432,000, with more than 381,000 in the private sector of the non-oil and gas industry,” the minister noted.
