The award ceremony of the Competition of Young Painters of the Turkic World on Traditional Children's Games was held on August 16th, in Aktau, the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2025, according to the official website of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY).
Over 40 talented young painters, selected from among 2,000 children from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye who passed the preliminary round, showcased their works to art enthusiasts in Aktau.
The ceremony was attended by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev and Deputy Mayor of Aktau Jusupov Bekzat Bağbergenuli. In his speech, Secretary General Raev stressed the importance of children expressing themselves through art and said: “Bringing our young people together through art strengthens cultural ties in the Turkic World.” Deputy Mayor Jusupov congratulated the young talents who participated in the competition and wished them further success.

Young artists who took part in the competition and received commemorative plaquettes were also offered laptops. While the results of the competition were previously shared with the public, the awards were handed over to their winners in a ceremony held in Aktau.
