The imports of crude oil and natural gas under the swap agreement are exempted from VAT for 3 years, Report informs, citing the amendments in the Tax Code.
Currently, Azerbaijan imports gas from Turkmenistan and Iran under the swap agreements.
The VAT rate in Azerbaijan is 18%.
