Azerbaijan was one of the countries where Belarusians went on vacation last year, said Irina Voronovich, head of the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Sports of Belarus, Report informs.
According to him, the top three countries included Egypt, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates.
He noted that last year, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia remained attractive for Belarusians: "Uzbekistan was also popular. Also, our tourists continued their trips to Russia."
Voronovich said that this year they will continue close cooperation with Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan in the field of tourism.
