US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah on Wednesday, after pressing Israel's leaders to offer a pathway to a Palestinian state.
According to him, the negotiations are focused on the situation in the Gaza Strip and the aggravation of the situation in the west bank of Jordan.
The US Secretary of State arrived in Ramallah after a series of meetings he held with the Israeli leadership.
Blinken is on another tour of a number of Middle Eastern countries, trying to find acceptable settlement options for the parties to the conflict in Gaza.
