Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with Kang Kymgu, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan.
Welcoming the ambassador, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov congratulated him on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.
The minister emphasized the strong foundation of mutual respect and sincere partnership between Azerbaijan and Korea, noting the significant potential for expanding cooperation between their respective agencies in the field of emergency management.
Highlighting the measures taken in Azerbaijan to prevent and mitigate the consequences of emergencies, Kamaladdin Heydarov underlined that bilateral cooperation in this field is developing steadily and purposefully. He also stressed the importance of sharing expertise and implementing activities based on previously signed bilateral agreements.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception and congratulations, Ambassador Kang Kymgu praised the growing interaction between the two countries, including collaboration in managing emergency situations.
The sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
