Azerbaijan and Serbia discuss prospects for future cooperation

Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with a Serbian delegation led by Nikola Selaković, Minister of Culture and co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Serbia Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation from the Serbian side.

Both sides praised the development of Azerbaijan-Serbia friendship and strategic partnership relations, which have a rich history, across various areas. They emphasized the active cooperation between the two countries in trade, economy, investment, oil and gas, and industry.

The sides noted the importance of implementing the agreements reached between the heads of state to further expand mutually beneficial partnership.

The significance of the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, held in Baku, was also highlighted.

The discussions covered increasing trade turnover and mutual investments, as well as exploring cooperation opportunities in transportation, transit, renewable energy, humanitarian efforts, and other areas.
