Observers from Asian Parliamentary Assembly highly appreciate organization of elections in Azerbaijan

Observers from the Asian Parliamentary Assembly have highly appreciated the organization and active participation of voters in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, Secretary General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly Mohammad Reza Majidi said at a press conference in Baku, Report informs.

“We have witnessed the active participation of the people of Azerbaijan in the presidential elections, and I would like to congratulate the people, government and parliament of Azerbaijan on the well-organized elections,” he noted.

Another representative of the delegation of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, deputy Ilyas Topsakal, noted that their delegation observed elections in many countries, but they were amazed at the high organization of elections in Azerbaijan.

“We are watching elections in many parts of the world. From a security point of view, which is one of the most important initial methods of elections, we have witnessed that elections in Azerbaijan are being held at the highest level in the world, people actively voted. These elections were held in a festive atmosphere,” Topsakal said.

The observer also noted that the elections were technically well organized, all election officials were impartial, attentive and accurate.
