Cultural Forum of Islamic World to be held in Shusha

A series of events will be held in connection with the declaration of the city of Shusha as the cultural capital of the Islamic world for 2024, according to the “Action Plan for Declaring the City of Shusha as the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World for 2024” approved by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Report informs.

The list of events to be held during the year is as follows:

- Cultural Forum of the Islamic World in Shusha;

- The international conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation dedicated to the protection of cultural heritage in Shusha;

- Round table and exhibition on the vanishing intangible cultural heritage of the Islamic world;

- The presentation ceremony of the book “Economy of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation”;

- Presentation of Shusha - Cultural Capital of the Islamic World 2024 postage stamp and relevant internet resources;

- Exhibitions of images of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, captured from space, to visually demonstrate the cultural heritage of Shusha and Islamic countries.
