Azerbaijani writer-translator Nariman Abdulrahmanli receives Kazakhstan’s Order of Friendship

Writer-translator, Head of the Department of World Literature of the Azerbaijan State Translation Center Nariman Abdulrahmanli has been awarded the “Friendship” Order of the Republic of Kazakhstan for his contributions to the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the field of literature.

 

The Order was presented by Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel during the official reception marking Kazakhstan’s Republic Day.

 

Nariman Abdulrahmanli’s translation works include “The Book of Words” philosophical treatise by poet Abay Kunanbayev, “Night Shot” by writer Kemel Tokayev, “The day the world collapsed” by writer Rollan Seisenbayev and others.
