Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, met with Daniel J. Edwards, U.S. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs at the Federal Aviation Administration.
Minister Rashad Nabiyev briefed on Azerbaijan's strategic importance as a regional transport and logistics hub, its multimodal corridors, and infrastructure projects.
The sides also exchanged views on the opening of the Zangazur Corridor, the acceleration of the TRIPP project, and cooperation with the U.S. in the restoration and modernization of the Nakhchivan railway.
They further discussed cooperation in other transport sectors, including aviation and maritime transport, as well as collaboration within international organizations.
