The Peruvian newspaper La Razon has published an article highlighting the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Peru.

The article covers the gala concert held in Lima, the capital of Peru, to mark the anniversary.

It notes that the event, organized at the Manuel Segura Theater, became a symbol of friendship, mutual respect, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The article also highlights that the event brought together Peruvian officials, members of parliament, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and cultural figures.

Addressing the event, Luis Alberto Campana, Director-General for Europe at the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that political dialogue and cooperation based on mutual trust have developed successfully over the past 30 years. He emphasized that the first political consultations held in Lima in 2025 created new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of culture, education, tourism, energy, trade, and investment.

The article also notes that Seymur Fataliyev, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Mexico and Peru, emphasized that cooperation in the political, interparliamentary, cultural, and educational spheres has expanded significantly in recent years.
