The autumn cross country championship was held in the Goygol district under the organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Athletics Federation of Azerbaijan.

The FCHAIN representatives, who visited the Goygol district as part of the championship, first visited the Heydar Aliyev Park in the center of the district. Then they visited the Goygol State Nature Reserve, one of the most charming corners of Azerbaijan. The forest landscape of Goygol and its surroundings with its natural wealth and charm caused amazing feelings in visitors.

14 teams from different regions of the republic took part in the autumn cross country championship, about 200 athletes competed in 8 distances: the shortest - 1 kilometer, the longest - 10 kilometers. Those who covered the designated distance faster than others on uneven terrain and took the first 3 places were awarded medals, diplomas and gifts.
Along with professional athletes, FCHAIN representatives also showed successful results. At the award ceremony following the championship, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation Maharram Sultanzade, Head of the Sector of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Sevda Mirzayeva and Deputy Director General of FCHAIN Valid Huseynov congratulated the winners and wished them further achievements.
