The participants of the International Baku Forum of Ombudsmen observed the demining process in Sarijalı village of Aghdam district.
AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that the participants of the visit were informed about the demining works carried out by ANAMA in the liberated territories. They were briefed that according to preliminary estimates about 12 percent of the country's territory is contaminated with 1.5 million landmines and UXOs.
Then the guests observed the process of mine neutralization.
