EPPO elects new Director-General in Baku
During its 74th session, held for the first time in Baku, the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO) Council has elected a new Director-General, Olga Lavrentjeva, for a 5-year mandate.
Lavrentjeva will assume the role of Director-General on January 1, 2025.
On September 23, for the first time, Baku hosted the meeting of the EPPO Executive Committee, and on September 24-25, the 74th session of the EPPO Council.
Representatives from the member states of the organization participated in the events jointly organized by the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and EPPO.
