ANAMA is interested in cooperation with international organizations in demining, Ramil Azizov, an official of the Azerbaijan Demining Agency (ANAMA), said at an event themed "Solidarity with mine victims in the South Caucasus: an important pillar of the strategy to eliminate landmines and their consequences in the South Caucasus", XQ informs.

According to him, international cooperation helps master innovations in demining and exchange experience: "There are international institutions with which we cooperate now, and we will work to further expand those relations."

Azizov added that ANAMA cleared 110 hectares of landmines and military munitions within the framework of humanitarian demining operations: "ANAMA has gained enough experience in demining operations. After 44 days of war, more than 18,000 anti-tank, over 30,000 anti-personnel landmines, and over 56,000 ammunition were detected and neutralized."
