New Azerbaijan Party delegation wraps up visit to China

A delegation from Azerbaijan, comprising members of the country's ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), concluded its visit to China on July 2.

During the visit, the YAP delegation attended seminars in Shanghai on China's socio-economic development, as well as the Communist Party of China's (CPC) personnel training and youth policy.

The Azerbaijani delegation also met with representatives of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee in Beijing.

During the meetings, the sides noted that Azerbaijan-China relations are developing steadily and discussed the current state of and prospects for cooperation between the ruling parties of the two countries.

The Azerbaijani delegation also attended a ceremony honoring members of the CPC.

Addressing the event, Vugar Iskandarov, a member of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, said the two countries enjoy excellent relations, highlighting the strong political commitment of their leaders and the role of the memorandum of cooperation signed between YAP and the CPC in strengthening bilateral ties.
