Over 60% of respondents support dialogue with Armenian representatives of Karabakh - SURVEY

The Social Research Center conducted an opinion poll among citizens in order to find out the public opinion on the dialogue process with representatives of the Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, XQ informs.

According to the results of the survey, 63.3% of the respondents supported the dialogue process, while 27.4% did not support. 9.2% of the survey participants found it difficult to give an opinion on this.

49.0% of those who supported the dialogue process considered it preferable to conduct the dialogue through direct contacts. 37.3% of them said that any format is acceptable, while 12.2% said that they prefer mediation. 1.6% of the survey participants found it difficult to give an opinion on this.

The fieldwork of the survey (data collection) was carried out between September 8 and 11, 2023. Surveys were conducted through telephone interviews, and 390 respondents over the age of 18 took part. The survey covered 12 economic districts.
