New board of Caspian Energy Club elected

New board of Caspian Energy Club is elected on the third day of the third month of each year, and the election takes place on February 29 only once every 4 years. This year, the regular election of the Caspian Energy Club board members started on February 29 and lasted for two days. Total number of people who joined the election process made 1,059. Of them, 971 voted through ballot papers, and 88 voted online.

 

This was said by the First Deputy Chairman of Caspian Energy Club and Group CFO, Rasim Mahmudov.

 

According to Rasim Mahmudov, “following the results of the two-day voting, the new Board of Caspian Energy Club is formed by Telman Aliyev (Caspian Energy Club), Zarifa Hamzayeva (Gazelli Group), Rashad Abasov (ASE Group), Natig Pashayev (CASPEL), Fariz Sultan Ahmadi (By Mygroup Holding), Ilgar Nuriyev (Veysəloğlu), Asad Nasrullayev (Debet Safety) and Sabina Aliyeva (GHRS).

 

I would like to thank FCHAIN Corporation and personally its Deputy General Director Valid Huseynov for arranging the election on a high level and ensuring its transparency. It is noteworthy that all conditions and facilities were provided to do the vote counting in compliance with international standards.

 

Telman Aliyev who gained 319 (30.12%) votes, has been elected Chairman of the Board. The first meeting of the board members is expected to be held in the near future. The Club’s activity strategy for the next year, as well as short and long-term objectives, will be defined at the first Board meeting. Besides, appointed at the first board members meeting will be heads of committees, working groups and regional representative offices,” Rasim Mahmudov said.

 

“The year of 2023 was very successful, positive and fruitful for us. Within a year, we organized over 150 events in 20 countries across the world. As 2023 was declared the year of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the 100th event in Azerbaijan was solemnly held by us at the Gulustan palace.

 

I hope that we will manage to maintain a friendly, encouraging atmosphere and high intensity in Caspian Energy Club in 2024 too, as well as effective and positive networking opportunities,” Rasim Mahmudov noted.
