Azerbaijani Ambassador to Morocco and Senegal Nazim Samadov has met with the Senegalese Minister of Petroleum and Energies Antoine Félix Abdoulaye Diome.
The ambassador noted that Azerbaijan’s rich experience in oil and gas production, and specialist training in this domain provides a fertile ground for cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Diome highlighted the recent discoveries of a number of large oil fields in Senegal in recent years. He also stressed the ample opportunities for cooperation in the relevant domain, as well as in regional energy projects.
