Azerbaijan was among the top five countries that opened a company in Antalya last year, Report informs, citing the local press.
According to the information, 6,765 companies were established in Antalya last year. 791 of them are registered as foreign companies. The number of Russian companies in Antalya has reached 255. Germany (83 companies) comes in second, followed by Iran (64 companies), Ukraine (53 companies), and Azerbaijan (42 companies).
Among the established foreign companies, construction companies are predominant in the sector. Next on the list are informatics, restaurants, food and beverage, and entertainment services.
The first foreign company in Antalya was established in 1970.
Of the companies operating with foreign partners, 1,217 are from Russia, 765 from Germany, and 675 from Iran.
