The Azerbaijan State News Agency – AZERTAC has hosted a meeting with a group of Pakistani sports journalists visiting the country within the framework of the cooperation between the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association (AIJA) and the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation.

During the meeting, AZERTAC Chairman of Board Vugar Aliyev highlighted the agency’s activities, emphasizing that the news agency maintains close relations with Pakistani media outlets.

Vugar Aliyev pointed out that modern sports infrastructure has been established in Azerbaijan, adding that the country has successfully hosted prestigious international sports competitions.

Pakistani journalists were also informed about the experience of covering sports events in Azerbaijan.

AIJA President Eldar Ismayilov highlighted the specific goals of the Pakistani sports writers' visit to Azerbaijan and the meetings they held during their trip. He also spoke about the AIJA’s relations with international media organizations operating in the field of sports.

The sides exchanged views on the coverage of sports events, and the Pakistani journalists shared their experiences in this area.

Following the meeting, the guests also familiarized themselves with the museum of AZERTAC, as well as conditions created for journalists at the agency.
