Rector of Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov spoke at the closing ceremony of the Seeds for the Future program of the Chinese company Huawei.

In his speech, the rector emphasized that Baku Higher Oil School cooperates closely with Huawei and takes an important part in the implementation of the company’s social projects in Azerbaijan.

“A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Huawei and BHOS. Huawei supported the creation of a learning laboratory at the university. It was decided to establish, for the first time in Azerbaijan, the Huawei IT Academy at BHOS.”

Elmar Gasimov also emphasized that students of Baku Higher Oil School actively and successfully participate in competitions and projects organized by Huawei.

At the event, a presentation was made by Roman Tolstosheev, a BHOS student majoring in Information Security, who actively participated in the company’s projects and won competitions.
