Ali Gorcin, President of the Informatics and Information Security Research Center (BILGEM) of the Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK) of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov informed Ali Gorcin about the modern educational conditions and research environment at the university, as well as the successes achieved by BHOS students and graduates. Speaking about the importance of cooperation with TUBITAK, the rector noted that such partnerships positively impact the professional development of students and graduates.

Ali Gorcin then provided detailed information about the history, activities, and strategic directions of BILGEM. He also shared his experience with the students and offered recommendations for career development.

The meeting discussed the possibility of organizing summer industrial internships for students at various company enterprises and the impact of artificial intelligence on engineering.
