Three schools in Marseille in southern France were evacuated due to reports of a bomb.
Report informs via the France 3 TV channel that, according to local police, the threats turned out to be false.
"There have been false reports of bombs at the lycees of Marseille," police said in a statement on X.
Law enforcement officers added that they conducted an operation on the spot and evacuated the students. The police report quoted French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin as saying earlier that French authorities would hunt down anyone responsible for spreading false information about bombs.
