Recently, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan, Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, visited the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.

The Ambassador met with BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov and Uzbek students studying at the university.

During the meeting, Elmar Gasimov noted that 25 Uzbek students are studying at Baku Higher Oil School under the Dual Degree Program signed between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Bukhara State Technical University, as well as under exchange programs.

Elmar Gasimov emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation, organizing summer and winter schools, and increasing the number of students from Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador, in turn, highly praised the conditions created at Baku Higher Oil School. He emphasized that the largest number of Uzbek students in Azerbaijan are studying at BHOS. Bahrom Ashrafkhanov expressed confidence that this trend will continue to grow in the future.
