A delegation of the Istanbul Technical University led by its Rector Ismail Koyuncu has visited the Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Construction.

The Turkish delegation held a meeting with a sizable representation from the Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Construction.

The roundtable meeting focused on expansion of the scope of the dual diploma program in construction and civil engineering between the Istanbul Technical University and the Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Construction. The discussions also centered around increasing the number of students involved in the program and developing dual diploma contracts for additional specializations.

The meeting addressed the establishment of fruitful cooperation in civil engineering, the signing of an agreement for a double degree at the master's level in architecture, and the implementation of this agreement.

The sides agreed to set the stage for active participation of teachers from both universities in the Erasmus + program, collaborate on joint projects and execute dual diploma programs in urban planning and life safety.

The guests had the opportunity to observe the teaching process and view the projects exhibited in the corridor at the Faculty of Architecture.
