The presentation of the “Diplomatic Protocol Guide”, prepared as part of the events to mark the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, has been held at ADA University.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as heads and employees of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.
Speaking at the event, Head of the State protocol department of the MFA Anar Najafli informed the participants about the "Diplomatic Protocol Guide", which reflects the immunities and privileges of diplomatic mission members of foreign countries and international organizations accredited in Azerbaijan.
He said the guide protocol, which consists of 40 sections published in electronic format and as hard copy, provides detailed explanations of the rights and responsibilities of the diplomatic corps.
Head of the Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Ramil Rzayev underlined that the publication of the protocol guide in the year of 2023, which marks the anniversary of 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, is of particular importance.
The event then featured the screening of a video highlighting Azerbaijan’s foreign policy during the period of Heydar Aliyev’s tenure as the President of Azerbaijan in 1993-2003.
