SAF 2023—International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival kicks off

SAF 2023—International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival has started at the Baku Expo Center, XQ informs.

The Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, MPs, and other officials are participating in the opening of the festival.

The purpose of holding the SAF 2023 Festival is to promote STEAM-based education, develop 21st century skills among students, identify students who are creative and skilled in digital technology, and study international experience in innovation and digitization.

Organized at the international level with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, SAF 2023 will be presented in the format of a total of 12 competitions in 15 age categories, as well as an exhibition of innovative projects in one category.

11 countries will be represented in the final stage of the festival. A total of 868 domestic and 159 foreign participants will compete in the final stage.

The jury of 96 people representing countries such as England, Norway, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan will participate in various competition categories at the SAF 2023—International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival, which will last until December 8.
