Azerbaijani and Spanish architects will implement joint projects in the liberated territories following the memorandum of understanding signed by the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC), Gulchohra Mammadova, and F-Holding director Farid Mustafayev, XQ informs.

The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the visit of Spanish architects and architectural companies to the university.

The memorandum based on public-private cooperation envisages the involvement of foreign specialists in teaching, various programs, master classes, and holding conferences and congresses at the AUAC Faculty of Architecture. At the same time, it is planned to develop joint projects, especially in the future, with the participation of Spanish architects, to develop projects related to territories freed from occupation.

Farid Mustafayev, the founder of F-Holding and one of the well-known figures of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Spain, noted that the memorandum will contribute to the country's architecture by creating conditions for the activities of Azerbaijani architects abroad, as well as foreign architects in Azerbaijan: "Karabakh was liberated. We will support the activities of foreign architects in the restoration of monuments in those territories. With this, we will once again show the world how our lands were destroyed during 30 years of occupation."
