MoU signed between Baku State University and Beijing University of Chemical Technology

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and BUCT President Tan Tianwei.

The memorandum aims to enhance the educational process across faculties, institutes, and colleges through the conduct of joint research and the organization of projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, and training programs.

The agreement also covers joint publications in scientific journals, the development of joint academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, as well as exchange programs for academic and administrative staff, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, and researchers.

Founded in 1958, the Beijing University of Chemical Technology is one of China's prestigious institutions, ranked 697th globally in the 2026 QS World University Rankings.
