Harvard University professor: Enterprises must reduce carbon footprint by switching to renewable energy

“It is well-known that the main driver of climate change is the greenhouse effect. If each of us contributes to reducing carbon emissions, we will be able to address the challenges of climate change in a short time,” said Ricardo Hausmann, Professor at Harvard Kennedy School and Director of Harvard's Growth Lab, at the event marking the launch of the Green Development Hub as part of COP29.

Highlighting various methods, including the Paris Agreement and COP initiatives, to achieve this critical goal, the professor stressed the urgent need for enterprises to shift their operations by replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy sources.
