Jeyhun Bayramov highlights importance of mountains for biodiversity at COP29 high-level dialogue

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov delivered a speech at the high-level dialogue titled “Advancing the Mountain Agenda and Mainstreaming Mountains and Climate Change” organized as part of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at COP29.

In his address, Bayramov emphasized the importance of mountains in providing water resources, sustaining ecosystems and biodiversity, and serving as habitats for humanity.

The event was attended by Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, President of Mongolia, Ramchandra Paudel, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, and other high-ranking officials.
