Kazakh construction companies interested in implementing projects in Azerbaijan

Construction companies of Kazakhstan are interested in participating as investors in projects in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel said, Report informs, citing the State Housing Construction Agency (MIDA) of Azerbaijan.

A meeting was held at the agency with the delegation headed by the ambassador. Agency’s Deputy Chairman Elshad Mammadov provided information about the main activities of his organization, noting that President Ilham Aliyev has set improving citizens' housing conditions and creating opportunities for affordable housing acquisition as priority tasks for MIDA. During the meeting, a presentation was given about the agency's construction projects, benefits of affordable housing, rules for acquiring apartments, and the "Affordable Housing" system created on the E-government portal (www.e-gov.az).

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the ambassador noted that relations between the countries are at a high level, and mutual visits by heads of state have made significant contributions to the development of bilateral relations. He emphasized that there is great potential for expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in various fields.

The meeting included an exchange of views on prospects for mutual cooperation in the construction sector, and questions from delegation members were answered.
