A delegation from the Türkiye’s Supreme Court of Appeals led by its President Ömer Kerkez, visited the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan on Thursday.

Inam Karimov, Chief Justice of Azerbaijan’s Supreme Court congratulated Ömer Kerkez on his election as the President of Supreme Court of Appeals of Türkiye. He said that the relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye have entered a qualitatively new stage and are constantly developing across all domains thanks to the fraternity and solidarity between the two countries’ peoples.

They underscored the opportunities for bolstering cooperation between the judicial bodies of the two countries.

Inam Karimov briefed the Turkish delegation about the ongoing judicial and legal reforms in the country, as well as the activity of the Supreme Court.

Ömer Kerkez stressed great significance of bilateral cooperation, highlighting the importance of stepping up efforts for furthering these ties.
