Thanks to high preparation, a friendly atmosphere and positive constructive mood reigned at the polling stations during the snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, which affected the overall course of the electoral process, Pavel Andreyev, a member of Russia's Central Electoral Commission, said at a press conference on September 2, Report informs.

"Our colleagues [from the Central Electoral Commission of Azerbaijan] were highly motivated, well prepared, and as a result, we saw the friendly atmosphere at the polling stations, the positive constructive mood that allowed us to build a positive atmosphere with voters, observers and other participants in the electoral process leading to a minimum of any serious incidents," he noted.

He added that highly experienced specialists who have been involved in organizing the electoral process for many decades and young people who have undergone appropriate training were involved in the preparation.

"I would also like to note that a significant number of women are represented in the composition of the election commission and among the observers," he noted.
