Pakistan highly appreciates Azerbaijan's efforts in the peace process, Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar said during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Report informs.
The Pakistani foreign minister also touched upon Azerbaijan's position on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir:
“In the future, we will continue to support each other within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Organization of Economic Cooperation. We also appreciate Azerbaijan's consistent and principled position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. Azerbaijan's position as a valuable member of the contact group on Kashmir is based on internationally recognized principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
