Azerbaijan considers it expedient to expand joint activities in the field of mine clearance with the EU in the direction of further education of children and youth on mine danger issues, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev said at an event dedicated to Europe Day, Report informs.

The minister reminded that in July 2018, a document on partnership priorities between Azerbaijan and the EU was signed at the headquarters of the European Union in Brussels with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and EU President Donald Tusk.

“Another important element of our bilateral relations, which is a manifestation of the successful foreign policy of President Ilham Aliyev, is the activities carried out in the field of transport communications. In particular, the creation of the Baku port and the Alyat free trade zone has made Azerbaijan one of the leading partners in the energy and transport field," Amrullayev added.
