Some international institutions have a biased, one-sided approach towards small countries, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said in a press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

According to him, the EU sometimes likes to instruct others: “I never interfere in the internal and external politics of any country. Unfortunately, some international institutions have a biased, one-sided approach towards small countries. We are ready to be a bridge between Azerbaijan and the EU. We want to present the objective situation in Azerbaijan in the EU. We should cover the situation in Azerbaijan as objectively as possible.”

Fico said that cooperation between the two countries should be expanded: “If there is a strong president and a strong prime minister, we can take on several projects. Creating a joint production site in Azerbaijan should be a common idea for everyone.”
